The Fat Truth.
The Fat Truth.
Hey there readers. It's me Ish here. And you are reading THE TEEN VOGUE, the one-stop Blogspot for all your teen-related issues and their solutions. After the huge success of my blog, THE BROWN-FACING AROUND US, I present to you a similar blog, THE FAT TRUTH.
My last blog was about skin tones and this one is about body sizes. We often see that people are rejected based on their body types. If someone is fat, they are often told that they should either start dieting or exercise or no one will like them. Fatness is a result of slow metabolism. Slow metabolism is when the body does not utilize the food in the best way possible and it gets stored as fats. Metabolism speed depends on genetics, so it's not your fault and not your parents' either. No one can control genetic traits or metabolism speed. As a result, people cannot control they are being fat or skinny. The movie, UJDA CHAMAN raised awareness towards the issue. If someone asks fat people to get skinnier for health purposes, then it is for the good cause often obesity can lead to a set of diseases like diabetes and heart-related problems. But if someone asks you to get skinnier just because society won't like you; THE SOCIETY NEEDS TO CHANGE, NOT YOU.
It's about time that we acknowledge that all body types are beautiful in their way. I came across this term a few years back, BODY-SHAMING. It is what we see in today's world. A skinny person is made fun of, a healthy person is made fun of. But we don't need to change. THEY are the ones that need to be changed. And when I speak of this, I do not speak on the behalf of all women of all body types around the world, I speak on the behalf of all people, regardless of their gender of all body types around the world.
Can you accept what you are?
I am sure this was helpful to you in some way. And I'll be doing more of such stuff. If you have any doubts or questions, you can fill up my comments section. And also, I have not copied my content from any website and have written it on my own.
I'd be tackling issues related to studies, friendship, career, choices, and more. Being a teenager is hard, but let's face it together. I am open to suggestions so you can mail me at- ipshita7000i@gmail.com
